Paul Riley leads this exciting course designed to release your imagination, so if you are interested in bringing some originality to your watercolour painting and release your imagination onto the page, this course is perfect for you. Although mainly aimed at watercolour painting you are welcome to use, and will be encouraged to experiment with, other media.
“The aim is to release our imagination to find alternative ways of seeing the world around us and represent it in a new and original way.”
Various methods of expression will be explored and demonstrated in detail including abstract and collage. The end results should be stimulating, provocative and exciting to work on, freeing your imagination and playing with a vast array of techniques. Paul will demonstrate throughout the weekend as well as ensuring plenty of time for your own experimentation and for critical feedback if desired.
