Our membership programmes are designed to support makers who want the freedom to make work outside classes or tutored programmes, without having to invest in their own studio space. You will have access to the studio spaces alongside other members and apprentices during week days, weekends and evenings, so you can work at your own pace and schedule.

It’s so great to have access to a wide range of facilities and to be around other potters, seeing the work of visiting tutors is also hugely inspiring - you learn a lot by osmosis

FAQs

Can I bring my own clay and glazes?

Yes. However please note that all firings are made at standard bisque and stoneware glaze to 1260 and ALL glazes must be test fired with the oversight of an apprentice technician before full firings can take place.

I don’t think I’ll use 15 hours per week, can I just come for a few days?

We don’t do daily rates, however we are flexible with your hours and know that some weeks you might not come in at all and others you might come in for three days straight, which is fine by us.

I can’t afford the rates do you do skills swaps or bursary schemes?

We don’t but our apprenticeships might be a good option for you - you trade your time (7 hours per week) and gain skills and a free membership.
