This episode is with Kevin Rouff one of the founding partners of the Studio. It was recorded at the Studio in Amsterdam in June 2023 and we talk about Red Mud, a project that questions our notion of ‘waste’, and shows the unexpected value of stigmatized materials in a world of finite resources. Working with factories and research labs, Bauxite aka Red Mud a byproduct residue of the alumina industry is transformed into ceramic bodies and glazes..
